Opterus Announces Release of Store Ops-Center Version 2.0
Opterus to demonstrate newest Store Ops-Center platform at NRF 2009
Toronto, Ontario - January 12, 2009 - Opterus Inc. today announced the release of Store Ops-Center Version 2.0. This release includes additional modules and features with technical improvements to the base platform and their web services. Opterus Store Ops-Center is a web-based retail portal solution that enables retailers to accurately and consistently distribute information, and to plan, schedule, assign, prioritize, automate, communicate and monitor store operational task compliance.
Version 2.0 of Store Ops-Center offers users an enhanced eForms module and introduces a new Document Library module. The Document Library allows retailers to post any kind of electronic documents or media, define search tags, keep archived versions and change-log, and post documents that are particular to any brand, region, district or store. Store Ops-Center Version 2.0 also provides significant enhancements to the eForms feature that enable retailers to create and post electronic forms, generate form tasks to gather survey or other data, and integrate eForm data to back-end systems through the web services and other methods.
Opterus originally released Version 1.0 of Store-Ops Center in July 2008, which provided the base communications and task management platform for an on-demand, web-based retail portal that improves retail operational efficiency and compliance monitoring. Opterus has received a great deal of industry praise with the initial release of the award-winning Store Ops-Center, with early client implementations indicating efficiency gains of more than 20 percent.
